Two of our trustees, Jayne Canning and Councillor Nick Wilkins, made the trip from our shop in the Royal Priors to the Shires retail park recently, to publicise our service and assess the accessibility of the Shires for people using mobility scooters. They found the journey easy, taking about twenty minutes, via Victoria Park and Ford’s bridge near Morrison’s supermarket. All roads were safely crossed using pedestrian crossings. On the way they handed out information leaflets and chatted to many people about Shopmobility. For Nick, it was his first time on a mobility scooter!
