If you find walking around shops or town centres difficult or impossible, then Shopmobility is here to help. Leamington Spa Shopmobility hires out mobility equipment at subsidised rates to help people of all ages who have difficulty getting around in Leamington. Anyone can use our service.
We can help you to enjoy the shops and heritage of Leamington with the loan of powered and manual wheelchairs and scooters. Our hire service is also available for weekends and holidays, for those that need a longer loan period. We sell a small range of mobility aids such as walking sticks and RADAR keys.
Location and Opening Times
We are located on Level 4 of the Royal Priors Car Park, and are open at the following times. Please return equipment at least 15 minutes before we close. Thank you!

Booking
Booking in advance is advisable. This can be done by contacting Leamington Spa Shopmobility.
Our equipment is only available to hire after the completion of a registration form, and a short demonstration and training session/safety check upon collection.
What is Shopmobility?
Leamington Spa Shopmobility provides wheelchairs and scooters to anyone who has a mobility difficulty. The service is run by Warwick District Mobility Ltd, which is a charity governed by a Board of Trustees. We belong to the National Federation of Shopmobility.
We are mainly funded by a grant from Royal Leamington Spa Town Council, and our shop unit is provided by Royal Priors Shopping. We also receive donations from local fund-raising organisations and members of the public.
Our service enables members to enjoy independence and freedom to visit shops, cafes, public services and parks within Leamington town centre. Mobility equipment on longer term loan can be used further afield.
The mobility equipment is easy to use and full training is given in our practice area by our friendly and knowledgeable staff to ensure your safety.
Our Service
We try to keep to our published opening times, but occasionally we have to close in the event of staff shortage, as we rely on volunteers to cover lunchtimes and unforeseen absences. We recommend that you telephone to check we are open.
Please return scooters and wheelchairs by 4:15pm.
Sales
We have a small selection of aids such as walking sticks, RADAR keys and reachers (grabbers) for sale.
We sometimes have second-hand scooters and powered wheelchairs for sale – please phone or call in to see what we have. We don’t sell or service new scooters or wheelchairs.
