What is Shopmobility?
Shopmobility schemes exist to help people with mobility difficulties to get around. Each scheme is independent, but regulated by the National Federation of Shopmobility.
Leamington Spa Shopmobility aims to help people with mobility difficulties who live in or are visiting the area. As a charity, we are able to hire out wheelchairs and mobility scooters at subsidised rates.
Would you like to get involved? You could become a Trustee! Leamington Spa Shopmobility is run by a charity, Warwick District Mobility Ltd., which is governed by a board of trustees. To find out more, please contact us by email or phone, or call in.
We have a small selection of aids such as walking sticks, RADAR keys and reachers (grabbers) for sale.
We sometimes have second-hand scooters and powered wheelchairs for sale – please phone or call in to see what we have. We don’t sell or service new scooters or wheelchairs.
Help and Information
We are here to help! Anyone is welcome to call in to discuss mobility issues, or just for a chat. If we can’t supply what you need, we might know someone who can. We also stock relevant leaflets and magazines.
