What is Shopmobility?
Shopmobility schemes exist to help pelople with mobility difficulties to get around. Each scheme is independent, but regulated by the National Federation of Shopmobility.
Leamington Spa Shopmobility aims to help people with mobility difficulties who live in or are visiting the area. As a charity, we are able to hire out wheelchairs and mobility scooters at subsidised rates.
We’re looking for another volunteer to help us in the shop for 1 or 2 hours a week. Come in for a chat if you are interested, and we’ll tell you more about what we do and how you can help.
We have a small selection of aids such as walking sticks, RADAR keys and reachers (grabbers) for sale.
We sometimes have second-hand scooters and powered wheelchairs for sale – please phone or call in to see what we have. We don’t sell or service new scooters or wheelchairs.
